I love my boyfriend. He is incredible. Here he is, right over there, look how dreamy ????
I have a second love, though… and that love is for Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine.
This publication is 100% woman run and has been mesmerizing brides-to-be with magical real weddings and inspirational styled wedding shoots for years. The Jaded Beauty team has had the opportunity to partner with Rocky Mountain Bride multiple times over the past few years including: The 2016 Colorado Regional Print issue at YaYa Farms, The 2018 Spring/Summer Print issue (BELOW), and another fabulous shoot this past month that is currently being kept under wraps but hopefully we can share everything soon!!
The feature below was showcasing one beautiful, REAL bride (married in three weeks) and her most important ladies. The bride, Caroline, won this custom photoshoot through a RMB contest – how sweet is that?! Our playground… I mean office for the day was Hotel Teatro, a swanky Downtown Denver venue featuring a dreamy lounge perfect for any event, rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, lounging, looking at Instagram, etc.
Emma and Grace Bridal Studio provided the lucky bridal model-for-a-day with her classy, yet sexy brunch dress. Emma & Grace is *ahem* in my opinion, the best bridal dress shop in Colorado. Yes, I mean that, with my whole heart. If you are a bride-to-be in the market and still shopping for a wedding dress, or even if you have already found your dress, just go there. I’m telling you, you won’t regret it. Not to mention, the owner makes all of the jewelry and accessories by hand and they are insanely beautiful! No, they did not pay me a commission for that specific call out (but maybe I should try and work out a deal with them). ????
Ok, we have to talk about the DIAMONDS! Are they not to die for? The perfect, shiny rock on Caroline’s hand is actual her real engagement ring! Her custom ring and all of the other diamonds you see in these photos were provided by The Diamond Reserve. The chick that runs this company is one of the most hilarious and also successful women I have met in this industry. She just makes you want to laugh and buy diamonds in one fell swoop. It’s incredible.
I’ve been hinting at that boyfriend of mine that I love so much that he should become friends with her soon and you know… buy a diamond… or two. (Wish me luck).
Moving on, our lovely ladies that made up the rest of the bridal brunch crew were all dressed in Nordstrom, nonetheless, I mean you can’t actually ever go wrong there. No one argues with that statement, right?
Don’t let the flowers go unnoticed. Those were custom crafted by Helios Florals. I am still obsessing over the extra long eucalyptus stems. Those things were FIRE! But seriously, they actually almost caught fire next to the lit candles on the main table toward the end of the shoot. Luckily, I was actually obsessing over them and saved them from catching flame. The shoot would have been completely ruined. I saved the day. You’re welcome everyone. Where’s my award? Haha, kidding. Kind of.
This could not have been possible without Peyton with Promise Event Planners, who was responsible for all planning and design that went into this shoot. This girl has a serious eye for design! I can’t get enough. She hand selected all of our vendors, including us, and we think she did a pretty fabulous job, don’t you?
Go tell her she rocks. Tell her I sent you.
Lastly, BEAUTY!!! When given the direction: “Do whatever you want” – we have some fun. We wanted to make sure each woman had their own, custom style that suited their look and dresses. In my opinion, the bride needs to stand out, but not overshadow her leading ladies. I went pretty glam with the bridal make-up while not going “too hard in the paint.” She clearly has make-up on but she is by no means, a “cake-face”. You can have glamorous make-up as a bride and still look like yourself. I am all about giving you that life! For her bridal brunch hair, she sported a loose romantic bun slightly to the side with dainty curls peeking out. A few flowers for the final touch that really buttoned everything up nicely into the quintessential bridal hair and make-up package.
*Queue salt bae*
END RANT.
That’s how that’s said, right? …Too soon?
Sorry, ok, enjoy below and see you in the next post!!
