Wihlelmina, a prominent modeling agency, sought an elite hairstylist specializing in natural, editorial looks for an upcoming photoshoot. The shoot’s focus was on individual studio headshots and lifestyle images, aiming to present a refined natural look for each model. Both the male and female models showcased various hair textures that required specific tailoring.

While we specialize in wedding hair & makeup, we absolutely love editorial work! Editorial typically comes with specific styling guidelines, with room for creativity within those bounds. We enjoy collaborating with professional models, as they trust and allow hair & makeup artists to work their magic without complaints.

This was a particularly exciting feature to work on due to the four diverse models involved. Aleela showcased gorgeous ringlet curls and striking freckles. We enhanced her curls for most shots and later styled it into a top knot for dramatic effect. Chonzie had naturally thick, long hair, that adapted flawlessly to every style. For Tyler, with his handsome medium-length hair we created an effortless, tousled style. Finally, Izzy’s stunningly long blonde hair paired perfectly with natural waves.
