Brindle + Oak reached out to us, knowing we would be the perfect fit for these clients who, let’s say, like to color outside the box. The bride’s vision: unapologetically feminine, rooted in Marie Antoinette energy, and unafraid to go full camp. The couple’s rehearsal day was decked in pink bows, gold skulls, and lavish drapery. Katie’s beauty inspiration was Chappell Roan’s iconic bridal drag makeup look. Full send. No brakes. The wedding day leaned further into the “unapologetically feminine” theme (exact description from the couple). For day two, Katie requested a polished Bridget Bardot look and multiple dresses to match. The groom didn’t hold back either, in a light pink suit covered in ballerinas. The aesthetic was fully committed, and the beauty had to match.

The wedding weekend was unabashedly queer and campy. The couple celebrated their love for Chappell Roan in style. The bride debuted a drag-inspired look for the rehearsal dinner. For the ceremony, they hired a harpist to perform ‘HOT TO GO!’The decor was full of pink drapery, disco balls, live trees, and maximalist accents everywhere. It goes without saying, this was a unique, memorable event that The Broadmoor rarely sees.
